CMEC offers many events from daily activities to pre-scheduled field trips. Additionally, we allow our facility to be rented for private events by members.

October Theme: Viewpoint Voyages: Exploring Four Angles in Art: Students will learn to observe and represent an object or scene from four different viewpoints. By creating four views of the same object, students will deepen their artistic skills while expressing their unique viewpoints through art.
Join us as we partner with UWEC's Department of Special Education and Exclusive Practices for our first free Sensory Friendly Night designed for individuals with sensory needs. Our goal is to create an inclusive play environment, and for this evening, we will be reducing high-sensory elements in the museum, such as bright lights and loud sounds. We will provide adaptable supplies, sensory bins, and AAC device picture cards. Additionally, a special stained glass-making craft will take place in the Makery.
Family Nature Club: Creek Discovery! at Beaver Creek Reserve

Splash around at Beaver Creek as we discover what lives in our streams. Become a scientist and investigate different critters we can find in the water. Join BCR and the CMEC for Family Nature Club! Programs will be offered monthly starting January 2024-December 2024 excluding the summer months. FNC is geared towards youth grades K-5, but all ages are welcome!
