CMEC offers many events from daily activities to pre-scheduled field trips. Additionally, we allow our facility to be rented for private events by members.

Is your child entering Kindergarten this year? Join us to celebrate starting school at Countdown to Kindergarten, sponsored by Kiwanis! Kids will get to hop on a real school bus, experience circle time, sign up for a library card, go through a lunch line, visit a music and art class, take a first-day-of-school photo and more, all FREE for upcoming kindergartners and their families. Our museum will also be open for play during the event.
September Theme: Color Kaleidoscope: Exploring Color Theory: We'll discover how artists use color theory to evoke emotions, convey messages, and captivate audiences. Come join us for a colorful adventure where creativity knows no bounds and every shade tells a story!
October Theme: Viewpoint Voyages: Exploring Four Angles in Art: Students will learn to observe and represent an object or scene from four different viewpoints. By creating four views of the same object, students will deepen their artistic skills while expressing their unique viewpoints through art.
