CMEC offers many events from daily activities to pre-scheduled field trips. Additionally, we allow our facility to be rented for private events by members.

Join us at the Children's Museum of Eau Claire for First Responders Weekend sponsored by Royal Credit Union! In honor of our courageous first responders, we're offering free admission all weekend long, from October 25 to October 27, 9 AM to 5 PM. This is our way of extending heartfelt thanks for their unwavering dedication and sacrifice.
At the Children's Museum of Eau Claire, we're excited to celebrate our amazing members this November with a special "Member November" event! Throughout the month, enjoy exclusive member-only hours every Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM—perfect for after-school fun and letting the kids burn off some energy. Plus, we’re hosting a weekly giveaway, with entries based on the number of member visits. The more you visit, the better your chances of winning awesome prizes! We couldn’t do any of this without your continued support—thank you for being part of our community!
Join us as we partner with UWEC's Department of Special Education and Exclusive Practices for our first free Sensory Friendly Night designed for individuals with sensory needs. Our goal is to create an inclusive play environment, and for this evening, we will be reducing high-sensory elements in the museum, such as bright lights and loud sounds. We will provide adaptable supplies, sensory bins, and AAC device picture cards. Additionally, a special craft will take place in the Makery.
Family Nature Club: Reptile Investigation! at Children's Museum of Eau Claire

A is for Animals and R is for Reptiles. Learn about our reptile friends and how they live. You may even get to meet a few! Join BCR and the CMEC for Family Nature Club!
