Rocket Club
For grades 6-8. Join the Children's Museum of Eau Claire after school for this competition rocket club! Students will work as a team to build a 6 foot rocket over the course of 7 weeks, before launching their rocket at the competition in Sheboygan on May 8-9. The Rockets For Schools program allows the students to experience the excitement of building high power rockets, coordinating a rocket launch, and working hands-on with industry professionals. PLEASE NOTE: The Rocket Launch competition will be held in Sheboygan, WI from Friday, May 8 to Saturday, May 9. Club participants will need to miss school on May 8 and will have to pay for their lodging and food. Club lasts from March 18-May 9. $50 for members | $70 for non-members
Join the Children's Museum of Eau Claire after school for this drones & coding club! Learnin the basics of coding and drones! Students will work together to learn the basics of drone flying, basic coding (with optional Python coding), and complete a drone obstacle course. We will start from the basics with block-based coding. With the CoDrone EDU's color sensors, a front range sensor, a bottom range sensor, and more, it’s a great way to learn to code! This program is for grades 6-8 and occurs March 23-May 4 (skipping March 30 and April 27) from 4:30-5:30PM.
Join us at the Children's Museum of Eau Claire for four (half days) of Lego Robotics! We will be building, coding, and assembling various projects using our Lego BricQ and Lego Spike kits. This is a drop-off, 3 hour program for your child who is currently in grades 1-5. Come join us for this fun LEGO build!
Join us at the Children's Museum of Eau Claire for Infento Kit building! Similar to large-scale LEGOs, infento kits are modular building systems that allow students to construct life-size, rideable vehicles together. As they work through the building process, students will naturally develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and engineering skills. They will be encouraged to think creatively, experiment with different designs, and learn from trial and error. After a week of working on vehicles, students will have the opportunity to take their creation for a spin! This is a drop-off, 4 day (1:00PM-4:00PM) program for your child who is grades 4th-8th.
To celebrate National Robotics Week join this amazing robotics & coding based workshop in a section for girls! Learn about the careers of women in STEM, discover how to build robots, become a drone pilot, and more. Explore the world of robots in a class made just for you! A pizza dinner and beverage will be served, or you can bring your own meal. Ages 8-11, $30 members | $40 non-members *registration required

Our summer programs provide engaging, hands-on learning through play in exciting themed sessions led by museum educators. Each program meets three hours a day for four days, with options offered throughout the summer. Offered inpartnership with ECASD, SDA, and CFASD, students attend at no cost to their families who live within these districts. $75/camp for students outside of these districts. Registration opens on Saturday, March 7th at 8am
